Prepare your materials by cutting 10 in. length of your burlap materials, equal strips of cheese cloth to your desired sizing (at least as small as the burlap pieces) and warm your hot glue gun. Finally, cut out eyes and mouths from black felt sheet to your desired appearance.
With one piece of burlap, place one of the wooden balls in the middle.
Gather floss or string (~6 inches long or more) and set aside.
Wrap burlap around ball creating head, neck and ‘body"‘ of the ghost. Tie neck to secure with floss or string. Be sure to double knot for maximum security!
Take strip of cheesecloth and lay on table. Place burlap ghost in the middle of cloth and wrap the cheesecloth around it in a similar fashion to burlap fabric.
Take twine and wrap at neck using a bow tie or other ‘pretty’ knot as it will be shown. OPTIONAL: secure with small dab of hot glue underneath twine before tying bow or knot.
Take felt eyes and mouth and affix to ghost with hot glue gun carefully.
Let set + repeat for as many ghosts as you would like.
TIP: if making garland, consider creating an odd number for a most visually pleasing garland!
